EJGS Resources – Gran Lombardo Readings
Gadda’s later Roman years are the focus of Cattaneo’s Il gran lombardo (Cattaneo 1991).
For Gadda’s early years (1893-1928) see Roscioni 1997.
The largest collection of photographic materials is provided by Pierangeli 1995a.
The two volumes of interviews are considered as works by Gadda and included in the primary bibliography (Gadda 1993b & 1993c).
Nine volumes of Gadda’s letters have been published since his death – Le confessioni di C.E. Gadda (Gadda Conti 1974); Lettere agli amici milanesi (Gadda 1983c); Lettere a una gentile signora (Gadda 1983d); L’ingegner fantasia. Lettere a Ugo Betti. 1919-1930 (Gadda 1984a); A un amico fraterno. Lettere a B. Tecchi (Gadda 1984b); Lettere alla sorella. 1920-1924 (Gadda 1987b); Lettere a G.
